Add Underlines to Link Text (BizTek Pro Theme)

By default, the BizTek Pro Theme underlines link text in content only when you mouse over it, and not at all in the navigation menu. Here’s how to add default underlining of link text in your content, your nav menu and header, or both, with some simple CSS.

To add underlines to all links in your site:

The following CSS rules adds underlines to all content, whether or not it’s created in BizTek Page Builder and to both page content and the header.

  • Add the following CSS to Customize > Code > CSS Code or your child theme’s style.css:
a {
  text-decoration: underline;

Tip: If you don’t see the changes you expect after adding the CSS and saving it, try adding !important to the declaration. For example: text-decoration: underline !important;

To add underlines to BizTek Page Builder content and the BizTek Pro Theme nav menu:

  • Add the following CSS to Customize > Code > CSS Code or your child theme’s style.css:
/* Add default underlines to BizTek Page Builder and BizTek Pro Theme link text */
.fl-builder a {
  text-decoration: underline;

To remove underlines from the BizTek Pro Theme’s header:

The previous rules will also apply to the BizTek Pro Theme’s nav menu and header logo area. If you don’t want that, add the following CSS after the previous rules:

/* Remove underlines from nav menu links */
nav li a {
  text-decoration: none !important;
/* Remove underlines from header logo area text */
.fl-page-header-logo a {
    text-decoration: none;
